Winter 2014 Restaurant Week: Baltimore

So...I know I didn't stay true to my word about keeping up with this baby blog...but I'm back! And ready to show you delicious eats in the DMV area. I will also post tips, recipes, and healthy eating tips :)

I had the pleasure of having lunch at TenTen American Bistro in Harbor East. Located in the old Bagby Furniture Company building, TenTen offers delicious lunch and dinner options throughout the week (M-F- lunch until 3 PM and dinner starting at 5 PM, Saturday - dinner service only, and Sunday - brunch only starting at 11 AM).

I've been to TenTen several times for lunch but of course, I wanted to support my sister restaurant! I had the pleasure of going for Baltimore Restaurant Week and they're lunch rush is no joke - everything was incredibly flavorful and beautiful in presentation! From sourcing their own produce from Cunningham Farms, the Bagby Restaurant Group stays true to their farm-to-table concept and shows how food is art. How can you say 'no' to locally sourced ingredients, housemade artisan breads and sauces, and tasty, beautiful food? I know I can't - and these pictures will show you why ;)

1st course: Butternut Squash soup with white truffle oil

1st course (shared with my good friend): Short rib mac & cheese - they NEED to make this into an entree :)

1st course: Herb parmesean fries - hand cut, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt.

Your truly enjoying a delicious glass of 2012 Angelwood Pinot Noir from Argentina :)

2nd course: Delicious house-cured corned beef Reuben with delicious greens from Cunningham Farms

2nd course: TenTen's Turkey Club - with housemade bacon, avocado and greens from Cunningham Farms

What a fantastic lunch with even better company! Cheers to the Bagby Restaurant Group and the team at TenTen. Thank you for an incredible Baltimore Restaurant Week experience!
