Veggies. As a kid, I was a picky, carnivorous eater. I wanted all of the stir-fried beef SANS broccoli and what not. Greens scared me. I never appreciated them. Bean sprouts? Please. Silly, silly, childhood Amy. I can't get enough of them now. I will choose to go meatless/vegetarian once a week. After doing my morning browsing, BuzzFeed Food posted this awesome go-to guide for cooking times for your favorite vegetables:
This is a simple, basic guide to vegetable cooking times (in their most basic methods). I will try and post a vegetable recipe once a month! Other methods include roasting, grilling, and baking (which are some of my favorites). After boiling your veggies, make sure you have a bowl of ice water at the ready to shock your veggies. It was keep the color on your veggies and stop them from cooking so you don't overcook them!
